Outside "the office"
Kristen has two children in a DC public school and is active in the school community. In the past, she has served on the Board of Directors of her community farmers market, a local homeschool cooperative, and a local harm reduction and needle exchange organization. She enjoys hiking and knitting and spending time with friends, both near and far. You can often find her and her family taking advantage of the fact that they live in DC by marching in the street in support of important causes.
