4 Ways to Limit Bias in your Evaluation

Hearing a lot about “false positives” these days?  Well, it turns out they’re not just a thing with COVID-19 testing… they’re all around us in the program evaluation space, too.  Of course, we love when our data tell us how incredible our programs are!  But what happens when our evaluation tools inadvertently inflate our impact? 

How can we limit “false positives” in our own surveys, interviews, and focus groups?

Before we start jumping to conclusions about our programs, it’s important to take a step back and consider what biases might be influencing our evaluation approach.  Lucky for us, there are many things we can do to limit the impact of biases when evaluating our programs, just a few of which are in the resource below: 4 Ways to Limit Bias in your Evaluation.
